Simone Curtis, a native of Washington, D.C., moved to New York in 1993, to pursue a career in the arts. Now an accomplished ceramist and sculptor, she has exhibited her work - including her recent one-woman show, "Textural Expressions" - in several trendy New York galleries.

Simone and her girlfriend Sue have been together since the summer of 1996, and moved across the hall from Eric and Joey in January 1997. Her brash honesty and sarcastic wit naturally complement Sue's slightly stuffy airs.

Simone is an avid Redskins fan, and enjoys jogging, drawing, and playing pool with friends at Linda's Place, a lesbian bar.
