Frank and Joyce Romelli, Joey's
parents, moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1991, when Frank retired
after 30 years as a Brooklyn plumber. Like the Parkers,
they are very supportive of their gay son, and visit New York occasionally.
They have two other sons and a daughter, Gina,
who is a nun.
