April Dinkleman, has spent much of her young life observing the tension between her father, Marty, and her uncles, Eric and Joey. Today, she's slowly starting to understand that Father doesn't always know best, and her gay uncles are pretty good guys, after all.

For their part, Eric and Joey have taken a renewed interest in their niece, and despite Marty's disapproval, enjoy spending Saturday afternoons taking her to the mall or the movies. Maybe one day, April's dad will understand that having gay relatives won't make her gay. But she might just grow up to appreciate men a little more.
