Angel acts as Eric's
conscience, helping him make responsible, moral decisions. The problem
is, Angel's earnest efforts are often sidetracked by Devil, who advocates
a looser ethical and moral code. The two can often be seen standing
on Eric's shoulders, bickering. These episodes often end up with Angel
either being tricked by Devil, or lured into sex with him.
